Streaming Speech is built using web technology, and is designed for online use. The online version allows the monitoring of student activity and progress for institutions:

• with a dispersed student population, including distance learning students
  
• with students who are working adults who prefer to study at home, in their own time
  
• with students who want access to Streaming Speech at any time of day or night

The demos for both versions include the Introduction, and Chapter 1. Each component can take up to 30 seconds to download to your computer from our server in Kansas. Thereafter, navigation between pages will be fast.

Streaming Speech is Windows-compatible software and requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, and Macromedia Flash Player. You will need to give permission for the download of an ActiveX control. If your institution's computer network has very strict security, you may not be able to view Streaming Speech. In which case, email me to ask for a demo disk.
